Instructions for Whitening
1. Floss and brush teeth. Next remove the
clear plastic cap from the syringe and replace with the mixing
nozzle.
2. Place a SMALL DROP of
gel inside the front portion of each tooth compartment of
your tray. If your teeth are smaller, use
smaller drops. Conversely, if you have larger teeth, use a
slightly larger drop. Each syringe has 6 marked treatment
doses. Use up to one dose per 2 tray applications.
3. Place the tray with gel over your teeth.
Be careful not to push the gel out of the tray, but be sure
that the tray is completely seated over your teeth. You may see the gel “bubbling” within your
trays while wearing them. This bubbling is actually part of
the whitening process.
4. Remove any excess gel - outside of the
trays - with your finger or a dry toothbrush. If you notice
any whitening of your gums, this is temporary and should last
only 5 to 10 minutes. These are signs you are using too
much gel. Use a little less gel next time.
5. Wear the trays for at least 30 minutes,
but no longer than one hour. I recommend one-hour treatments
for faster results if so desired.
6. After whitening, remove the trays, rinse
excess gel from your teeth and gums. Rinse the trays with
cold water (hot water may distort your custom tray). Place the trays in the storage case and keep them in a cool, dry place.
7. On average, it takes approximately 7-12
bleaching hours to get your desired results. Depending on
the depth of color within your teeth and the whiteness you
desire it may take longer. You decide how quickly to proceed
according to your convenience, needs and schedule.
8. Optional: Take a 1 to 2 week
rest after you complete 7 to 12 treatments. The color will
stabilize during this time. Then you may continue with additional
full and/or spot treatments.
